Customer Review: Great except they don't seal liquids

Like the stackability, and lids lock into each other. The deal killer is that they do not seal in liquids. I bought the more expensive rubbermaid to use camping and picnicing and found that if it tipped, any liquid would leak out. I can't tell you how much I love these containers! They're absolutely wonderful. They keep food super fresh, without any lingering smells or staining. I used mine for a while, then bought sets for my mother, sister, and sister-in-law. Everyone loves them as much as I do... and you can supplement your set by purchasing additional pieces at Target or Walmart.
Overall, a great set of food savers which far exceeds all others! :-)

I have gone through various food storage sets. Gladware, Ziploc, the whole shelf. These Rubbermaids truly live up to their advertising. The lids stack and lock together, which is a HUGE space saver, and they don't get lost in the back of the cabinet. The tubs themselves are very sturdy. They have gone from freezer to microwave to dishwasher and still come out looking new. Nothing sticks to them, no tomato sauce stains!Customer Review: Love it! 6 stars!

Love this set! My DIL has the previous design which led me to buying this set. Very nice! The lids are thick but pliable and the quality of the container is also high. I'm not big on plastic food containers but these are awesome.
I wish there were some other sets to choose from. I'll be buying the larger sized pieces individually to complete my set. I'd give it 6 stars if it were possible!

I thought these were the greatest containers until I found out they had BPA. As the prior reviewer stated, to Rubbermaid's credit, they are very clear that it contains BPA.
In 5 minutes of research I also learned that there is a panel of 38 indpendent experts on BPA that has rejected BPA as unsafe. See http://www.ewg.org/reports/bpatimeline or simply Google "ewg bpa".
