I bought five of these garment bags thinking they would be an excellent purchase because of the price and because of the name but based upon the dimensions I was thinking that my suits would not fit in them properly. Needless to say, when I took them out of the packaging and placed my suits in them and hung them up, the bag is NOT LONG ENOUGH for the suits to fit without slightly wrinkling them.
I think that Rubbermaid should have done their homework before putting out such an inferior product. A few more inches in length and width would greatly improve these bags. Also, I don't like having to pick off the pieces of canvas from my suits before I wear them. This was an unfortunate purchase and now I cannot return them because the packaging got thrown away.

This item hasn't been reviewed for a while, so I figured that I'd provide an update regarding the latest shipment.
I ordered four of the suit bags in March 2008 (ordered while out of stock, shipped late April 2008). The bags I received (Rubbermaid 3F21) did indeed include small cedar tabs sewn into the bottom end of the bag. The bags smell faintly of cedar and will probably repel insects for a while (though the cedar will likely need to be replaced in the future).
Regarding overall quality, these are probably the best quality garment bags you can buy from Amazon for the price. The bags are made from nice, solid canvas, the zippers work smoothly, and the openings are well-sealed, while still allowing for a variety of hangers. There is also a small plastic window which makes garment identification easy.
I would highly recommend this bag, assuming that Amazon restocks them.

I purchased two of these bags about a year ago after losing 2 suits to moths. After thoroughly cleaning my closet, I put my suits in these bags and haven't had any problems since. The small window lets me know which suit is which and the bags protect from both moths and dust. The cedar insert in the bag is pretty small and I don't know how effective it is, but I haven't had any problems with moths so I can't complain.
The one potential drawback to this bag is the length. I'm about 6'0" and my suits barely fit in the bags without bunching up. However, I have limited space in my closet due to a closet organizer and a longer suit bag would not fit in my closet anyway. At any rate, these bags, although inexpensive, seem to be well made and serve their purpose.

EDIT [June 2008]: Now that they raised the price from five bucks to eight bucks, I no longer stand by my 4 star rating. This is now an average bag for the price. The "For Dummies" bags are a good alternative in the price range. The eight dollar Rubbermaid canvas bag is sturdy and opaque; the eight dollar "For Dummies" canvas/plastic bag Storage For Dummies: Suit / Jacket / Garment Durable Canvas Storage Bag is sturdy and transparent. Most other garment bags on Amazon are either more expensive or flimsier. I wish I could edit/adjust my star rating down to 3 stars, but I can't. (Note: the Cedar Insert is so tiny that it took me months of use before I noticed it.)Customer Review: Better then expected.

Although the image is incorrect, I much prefer that the suit bag came with an entire canvas front versus the vinyl. I seem to have bad luck with hangers or transportation ripping holes in the vinyl. The canvas is much sturdier and still has a window at the top, right so that you can see what is inside.
There IS a cedar insert in each of the suit bags (at least there were in my three that I ordered). It's just enough to do the trick. If you unzip the bag and right towards the bottom there is a small cedar insert inside the bag. Overall great buy for the item that you receive. I'll be buying another three shortly!
