This chest holds alot more than I expected. It folds up to be flat when not in use so it doesn't take up alot of space. However, the cedar insert can't be replaced, so I guess when it's no longer effective, you just put one in the chest along with the articles in there.

I will just add to the comments that these hold a lot of stuff. I do wish it had one of the hard bottoms so that it would be a stackable item...however the fact that it holds so much makes it a good purchase for the price to me.Customer Review: Nice storage chest, smaller than expected

I ordered this to store some winter clothes and it is basically a collapsible fabric box. I might order some more if they came in a darker color or if they made a larger size. Otherwise, good for the price.Customer Review: It's Okay

I used to store my winter clothes and put in the closet. I usually use storage bins, But works fine too. Not too sturdy soft canvass material.
I am happier with the storage bins.

The chest isn't shallow enough to fit under a bed, nor is it an appropriate size/shape to fit my closets. Haven't yet found a practical use for it, so it languishes amidst my clutter!
