I am very happy with the Easy Find Lid series. They are very good quality. But then, the many, many other reviewers who all also love this set will tell you that.
So here's some information that is harder to find: all the sets of these that I could find available, and the contents of each set, all in one place.

One more note - I found that buying two of the 24 piece sets was several dollars cheaper than buying either the 50 or 48 piece sets, and would provide a nicer distribution that would fit my needs better. Prices will change, of course, so this may not always be true, but it was for me.

The Rubbermaid Food Storage Containers are highly recommended. We particularly like the way the lids stack together and fit multiple container sizes. We've had 2 other less expensive sets by Glad and ?? which are very inferior. We donated them to Goodwill.
We find we use the 2 and 3 cup containers the most. We seldom use the .5 or 1.25 cup containers.
This is our second set of 24 Rubbermaid Food Storage Containers. We've enjoyed the first set of 24 so well, we ordered a second set. We like the 24 quantity set over the other options as it has an additional 2 cup container which we use frequently. Also, 2 of the 24 container sets are less expensive than a 48 or 50 container set.

I just received these Rubbermaid Easy Find Food Storage Containers, and even before I opened the box, I just knew my life would be forever changed. No more shall I labor for hours trying to fit a square lid on a round container... and better yet... No more shall I labor for hours trying to fit a round lid on a square container!! Now, the hours I have saved will allow me to corral last month's broccoli surprise, which has taken over the bottom shelf of the ol' Frigidaire.
Did I mention that these phenomenal food storage containers by Rubbermaid are devoid of the chemical BPA, which could turn my future progeny into gilled, hermaphroditic mutants? (Hmmmm... on second thought, maybe better than the ones I have now...)
The Rubbermaid Easy Find Food Storage Containers are color-coded too! If you want to seal your food away until it anaerobically decomposes, you just attach a red piece to a clear piece, and there you have it!
These Rubbermaid Easy Find Food Storage Containers are also not made in China by minimum-wage unskilled laborers... they are made in the good ol' USA by minimum wage unskilled laborers. So, they are not only good for your food, they are good for what is left of the American industrial sector.
According to the box, Rubbermaid Easy Find Food Storage Containers can be used in the freezer, the dishwasher, and in the microwave. Why you would want to store food in your dishwasher or microwave is beyond me, but to each his own. The box doesn't say not to put it in the oven or over an open flame, and has absolutely nothing to say about storage of volatile explosives, so my future experiments may be leading me to a huge cash settlement.
Anyway, I hope that your Rubbermaid Easy Find Food Storage Containers make you as deliriously ecstatic as mine have made me.

I had an old set of Martha Stewart Everyday plastic food storage containers that I had been using for several years, and really liked, but they were getting old, missing lids etc, so I decided to try this set. I found this same set on base at my PX and was very pleased since other chain superstores didn't have this size set.
After I unpacked and washed them all I couldn't believe how well they sealed compared to my old set of MSE. Also, the convenience of several different size bowls having the same size lid is genius! My old containers took up about a 3 foot section of shelf space in my pantry, this set, takes up about 10 square inches!!! The whole set stacks in one stack including all the lids. I am so happy to have the extra storage space and the ease of finding both pieces so much faster. I will be buying a second set of these! I really just love them.
I've had the set about 2 full weeks and use them everyday, I have not noticed any staining, warping, or melting. I have stored everything from bbq chicken, to chili, to spaghetti, with no stains. I have reheated a lot of things and have not had any problems with bubbling the plastic or any warping. I will say, I do not heat things for longer than 30 second intervals in any plastic ever, (since the longer you microwave plastic the more chemicals that release from the plastic) and these do not even get hot to the touch like my old set would, using the same microwave and times.
Bonus they are BPA free! Even better that I expected. If I could give this set 10 stars I would! I can't remember being so happy with a simple purchase like this in a while!

Once upon a time, I had used Rubbermaid storage containers, but when the more disposable and less expensive ZipLoc and Glad became available, I switched to them. I liked how I felt no guilt about tossing a ZipLoc after it became pitted or stained, something I always hesitated to do with the more expensive Rubbermaid. But when it came time to get new containers, I took a look at this Rubbermaid in a store and decided that it was time to return to the brand. I liked the idea of sturdier containers and the easy-to-find lid option.
Pros: sturdy, thick-walled containers and lids that don't shatter when dropped; stackable tops to keep them organized; one-size lid can fit on multiple containers, so I don't have to sort through lots of lids to find the right one; microwave- and dishwasher-safe; durability; price.
Cons: the lids fit so tightly (it takes real effort to get them on!) that I don't find it practical to store them on top of empty containers -- I store the stack of lids separately; one of my containers came with some sort of black material embedded in the plastic, a cosmetic defect that prompts me to put it aside, unused, every time.
I'm glad I bought this set instead of buying another disposable ZipLoc or Glad set, but the stiff lids do make the containers difficult to top. If you have issues with strength, you might want to buy a thinner, disposable or a more expensive and flexible set instead.
